Let the Healing Begin
Pain is inevitable. Life will cause some physical pain to visit your doorstep; such as a broken arm, broken leg, a very bad bruise or sprain. When someone sees your broken leg or arm they avoid coming into contact with your brokenness at all cost. Once the healing begins, it is painful to move and do the things you once did. As time progresses, complete healing takes place, and allows you to return to your daily routine. Emotional pain and wounds are much different. People cannot see your emotional hurt and pain. The emotional pain can originate from verbal and/or mental abuse, rejection, oppression, harassment, discrimination, abandonment and/or depression. Emotional pain also has a healing process, but when wounds are not properly cared for they become infected and cause more problems. The Infectious pain often causes anger, isolation, being easily offended, and overly critical of others. To become completely healed from your emotional wounds you have to accept the love of Jesus Christ and allow Him into your heart to heal the wounds. You can bring all of your hurts, wounds, and offenses to the throne of grace. God wants to heal you. God wants to heal every pain, hurt, and abuse that has taken place in your life.
